As we seek to see lives and communities transformed, loving the vulnerable in our city is central to our vision. Under the umbrella of HOME we run a variety of events and activities that seek to work with and alongside the local community and other organisations.
HOME on Sunday
The Clothing Bank is open to those who find themselves, for whatever reason, in need of clothes. Charities and organisations from around the city can refer people to come and receive clothing. We’d be very grateful for any donations to the Clothing Bank, email firstname.lastname@example.org to arrange a convenient time to drop off any items.
A morning group for babies and toddlers (and their parents/carers) in the centre of Lincoln with generous hospitality at its heart. We provide a place for children to have fun and their parents/carers to feel connected and supported.
We partner with ‘Safe Families for Children’ to care for some of the most vulnerable members of our society – children whose parents are going through a hard time. Members of our congregation are signed up as ‘Host Families’, ‘Family Friends’ and ‘Resource Friends’.
The Hub Youth Project
This is for young people, age school years 6-9 in Lincoln and the surrounding area. It’s an open youth club every other Tuesday in Unit 7, Waterside South, from 6.30-8pm. It’s an open space to play table tennis, pool, craft, tuck shop and loads more!
