HOME

As we seek to see lives and communities transformed, loving the vulnerable in our city is central to our vision. Under the umbrella of HOME we run a variety of events and activities that seek to work with and alongside the local community and other organisations.

atHOME

A safe space where everyone is loved, valued and encouraged to thrive. We meet on a Monday evening, with a meal at 6.45pm, followed by a short service, at St. Swithin’s Community Centre on Croft Street.

HOME on Sunday

Our Sunday team is made up of those who are part of HOME teams. The role of the team is to engage with those people who may feel on the fringes. As part of the welcome team, we love to introduce people to other members of the congregation, get drinks and make them feel welcome.

Clothing Bank

The Clothing Bank is open to those who find themselves, for whatever reason, in need of clothes. Charities and organisations from around the city can refer people to come and receive clothing. We’d be very grateful for any donations to the Clothing Bank, email home@stswithins.org.uk to arrange a convenient time to drop off any items.

Prison Alpha

We work alongside the chaplaincy team to run Alpha in our local prison. Alpha in the prison provides a safe space for people to ask life’s big questions and explore faith in a safe and relaxed environment.

Mentoring and Befriending

If you are interested in mentoring and befriending, please email Emily at home@stswithins.org.uk

Babyccinos

A morning group for babies and toddlers (and their parents/carers) in the centre of Lincoln with generous hospitality at its heart. We provide a place for children to have fun and their parents/carers to feel connected and supported.

SFFC

We partner with ‘Safe Families for Children’ to care for some of the most vulnerable members of our society – children whose parents are going through a hard time. Members of our congregation are signed up as ‘Host Families’, ‘Family Friends’ and ‘Resource Friends’.

The Hub Youth Project

This is for young people, age school years 6-9 in Lincoln and the surrounding area. It’s an open youth club every other Tuesday in Unit 7, Waterside South, from 6.30-8pm. It’s an open space to play table tennis, pool, craft, tuck shop and loads more!
